black friday touch screen monitors quotation
Now that Black Friday is over, it’s easy to worry you’ve missed out on all the best deals. But if you’re in the market for a new monitor, the good news is there are a ton of Black Friday monitor deals still on! With so many Black Friday deals available right now, we’ve picked out some great options for many different situations. That includes gaming monitors, budget-priced screens for working on, and everything else in between. Whether you’re looking to improve your gaming experience or simply expand your desktop with a second monitor, this is the time to do it. Read on while we take you through the great options we’ve picked out.
Everybody knows Dell as a computer maker, but the brand also offers some of the best monitors around — especially for those on a budget. If all you need is a no-frills, no-nonsense 1080p display for a work desktop and you want to spend around 100 bucks, look no further than the Dell SE2422H. This 22-inch monitor sports a Full HD VA panel with a 75Hz refresh rate. That’s not going to set the world on fire, but that’s not what this monitor is intended to do. It’s perfectly good enough for work, school, and other productivity tasks, and does it without putting too big of a dent in your bank account thanks to early Black Friday monitor deals knocking the price down to less than a single Benjamin. Just hook it up to your PC via VGA or HDMI and you’re ready to rock.
Black Friday Dell deals include a solid bargain on this 27-inch monitor, so if you’re looking for something a bit bigger than your standard 22-inch and 24-inch displays, the Dell SE2722H might scratch that itch. It’s very similar to the 22-inch Dell SE2222H in terms of specs, featuring a 1080p VA panel with a 75Hz refresh rate. Nothing groundbreaking, but at 27 inches diagonally, the Dell SE2722H gives you more screen real estate to work with than what you normally get with cheap monitors in this price bracket. An anti-glare coating and Dell’s ComfortView technology (which reduces harsh light in the evening hours) also make it comfortable to work on for extended periods. At this price, the 27-inch Dell SE2722H is a very solid work monitor for not a lot of money.
Looking to take your desktop workstation into the world of 4K? The 27-inch Dell S2721QS monitor lets you make the jump to Ultra HD without spending a small fortune. The display, which boasts a resolution of 3840 x 2160, is also an IPS panel, delivering a more color-accurate picture and wider viewing angles than standard TN and VA panels (which are more common, less expensive monitors, like those above). This 4K display also has some nice extra features such as AMD FreeSync, support for HDR playback, and ComfortView, making it suitable for multimedia use. If you’re looking for a jack-of-all-trades 4K monitor for a very reasonable price, early Black Friday monitor deals mark this one down to less than $300.
Want to go even bigger? The Dell S3221QS is a plus-sized monitor that would be an ideal upgrade to any desktop workstation. It’s a 4K display, too, with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz. The VA panel is curved, which is something we like to see with a monitor of this size. That gentle curvature offers a more comfortable and immersive viewing angle when you’re sitting close (which you likely are if you’re sitting at a desk), whereas a standard flat-paneled monitor of this size can cause that “washing out” effect at the edges of the screen when you’re looking at it head-on. A 3000:1 contrast ratio, support for more than a billion colors, three input ports (two HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort), AMD FreeSync, and HDR support tick the boxes of pretty much everything we look for in a 4K monitor in this price bracket.
If you’re specifically interested in a display built especially for gaming, then you want something more than your standard work monitor. Vertical sync technologies, higher refresh rates, and higher response times are a few things to look for in a gaming monitor, and the massive, 49-inch Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 has them all. We ranked the last-gen 1440p model among the best gaming monitors, but this one outperforms it thanks to its 4K UHD panel. The Odyssey Neo G9 also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for a smooth picture free of screen-tearing, while its slick 240Hz refresh rate lets you crank up the framerate without issue. The 1ms response time virtually eliminates input lag, as well — and did we mention that that gorgeous 49-inch 4K panel is curved, for an even more immersive gaming experience? It’s not cheap, but the Odyssey Neo G9 will be the last gaming monitor you need to buy for a long, longtime, and ongoing Black Friday monitor deals lessen the hit to your wallet.
I missed all the Balck Friday and Cyber Monday deals, and my laptop just got knocked off my desk over the weekend, and it’s toast. I’m going to wait a week or so and see if there are any after Christmas deals or open-box specials at Best buy.
Hi Dan – I looked through the entire Lenovo black Friday catalog for 11/27 and other dates and cannot find the model below. They only have the Intel i5 version listed for $539.99. Can you help me out if this a misprint or not?
P.S. I assume you have noticed that the new #28 deal in their catalogue isn’t at all a Flex 2-in-1 touch PC. It’s a regular non-touch IdeaPad 5 laptop.
Hi Dan, I’m looking at the Lenovo Legion i5 15 (82AU00CXUS) as it has all the features I’m looking for and seems to be a great price on that sale ($599.99). However, Lenovo has a number of Black Friday deals already active today (11/21/20), but I can’t find any mention of a sale on that particular unit, and it is currently priced at $829.99. How do you know the price will drop on 11/27? I’m just worried about waiting for that to happen and missing other deals going on in the next week, and then if it never actually comes to pass. Thanks!
What all of them have in common is that they feature IPS wide viewing angles – important for picture quality – and they have fast solid state drives instead of hard drives that can slow things a lot. Basically, if you can find a laptop with an IPS screen, SSD, Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 or AMD Ryzen 3 / 5 / 7 processor and 8GB or more RAM, you can buy that and have an excellent machine for these tasks.
Nice announcement but they are new products. I have found a website Memory4Less.com, also offer the best deals on Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2020. Last year I purchased some hard-to-find laptop parts and accessories like CPUs, Storage Devices, Charges and, Adapters. I think need to visit to just check out the deals.
Please be aware that Best Buy WILL NOT honor their ‘Price Match Guarantee’ for the week before Black Friday through December 2nd. I bought a Chromebook 3, 4G. by Samsung at Best Buy for $119 on their website with in-store pickup this week.
Hi do you know the SKU of the Flex 5,? Or just check whether its screen is IPS wide viewing angle. If it is, that’s the better choice because the S340 isn’t listed with IPS. If you’re interested in other models, I would make sure to get a notebook with IPS screen, SSD storage, and at least 8GB RAM. For the tasks you mentioned, it isn’t overly important whether the processor is Core i3, i5, or i7.
Looking to purchase a Laptop on Black Friday, can’t decide between the HP 17Z Touch Optical or Dell 15 5000. Budget $300-$400. Preference with a Optical Drive.
I’m a college student looking for a good long lasting budget laptop. Not looking to spend anything over $300. Which Laptop from the Black Friday deals would you recommend? I download a good amount of files and create folders. I like using multiple tabs when browsing and watch most of media on my laptop. Thanks.
Hi, for under $300 on the list there are a few laptops with large 8GB RAM and large storage space (1TB) to meet your multi-tasking and file storing requirements. These are the Lenovo ThinkPad E495 20NES0F100 and HP 17-by1061st, both with decently fast processors. Nevertheless, these are budget laptops without high-res Full HD screens and IPS tech for wide viewing angles. That’s the biggest compromise you have to make if you don’t want to exceed your $300 budget.
What are your thoughts on Lenovo thinkpad t470? It is on sale for Black Friday at Lenovo for $499? I am looking for a mid range laptop for home use in the $350-500 range. I really don’t know what specs but someone at a electronics store recommended Lenovo or HP with SSD, minimum 4GB, 256 GB, i5,……I would love your recommendations for a laptop. Thank you!
Hi, Lenovo’s Black Friday / Cyber Monday ads are not out yet. But if they offer the ThinkPad T470 with SSD, i5 CPU, and at least 4GB RAM for $500, I think that would be a very good deal. That’s because ThinkPad T-series laptop are much more sturdy than a typical budget notebook. The caveat here is that the T470 is an old model from 2-3 years ago and uses old 6th Gen Intel Core processors. There are the (pricier) T480 and T490 with newer and faster processors, but even a 6th Gen i5 is very good for the daily computing tasks, especially if paired with SSD and 8GB RAM (4GB can be usable too). Also, if display quality matters to you, make sure your laptop has at least Full HD resolution and IPS technology for wide viewing angles. However, Full HD IPS laptops with at least i5 and SSD aren’t very common in the $500 price range.
Hi, I would get the HP 15-cc610ms, primarily because of its IPS wide viewing angle screen. The Dell uses a TN screen with narrow viewing angles, which can be quite troublesome for movie watching. Also, the HP has a faster 8th Gen i5 processor, instead of 7th Gen, but it is not a major advantage for the light tasks you mentioned. Plus, the HP has an IR camera for easy face recognition-based log-ins. That’s a nice perk.
Having SSD is really important performance-wise. But, in this case my choice would be the HP, because it’s much easier to do hard drive than screen upgrade. So, I would get the HP and upgrade its HDD to SSD (if not satisfied with HDD performance).
Advantages of this model are its touch-screen with IPS wide viewing angles (many of the other models have narrow viewing angles), a fast 8th Gen Core i5 processor and 8GB RAM which are excellent for Office and similar tasks, and a 1TB hard drive with a lot of free storage space for pics and videos (video files can be quite large). The only downside of this model is that it uses a hard drive for storing files, instead of much faster solid state drive storage. But, the x360 15t 3EC87AV_1 includes Intel Optane technology to speed up storage. It won’t be as fast as an SSD drive, but SSDs with a lot of capacity such as 512GB or 1TB (1000GB) are quite expensive.
Anyway, if you for some reason don’t like the HP Envy x360 15t 3EC87AV_1, for your tasks I would advise you to get a laptop with a 7th or 8th Gen Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processor, at least 8GB RAM and 1TB of storage, and an IPS screen if having a good display is important to you. Regards!
IMO, 2GB is enough only if you don’t run a web browser and Netflix at the same time. Also, if you open multiple heavier web pages in browser tabs, slowdowns will likely occur, even if you run only your web browser. So, my advice is to get a laptop with at least 4GB RAM. As you can see in the post, they will start at only $120 this Black Friday.
Update: Hi, I’ve just picked good laptop deals from their Black Friday ad: the HP 14-bs153od, Dell Inspiron 15 3000 i3567-3378BLK-PUS, and Lenovo Flex 5 81CA0010US. They are now listed in the post above. Regards!
It’s a decent machine for under $400. But right now my favorite in that price range is the 13.3-inch Dell Inspiron 13 i3378-3340GRY-PUS 2-in-1 ($379 Cyber Monday price on MS Store listed above) because of IPS touch-screen. A problem with the Dell is that maintenance manual for it isn’t listed on the Dell site so I’m not 100% sure whether it features two RAM slots. But I guess the i3378 is actually 5378 (3378 apparently doesn’t exists in Dell’s official lineup). They look the same and have the same main specs, so I assume they are both identical inside. Meaning the 3378 has 2 RAM slots, as same as the 5378.
But if you’re more into 15.6″ size then the Acer is a good choice, especially after upgrading to dual-channel memory and putting an SSD drive instead of HDD (major speed boost in everyday use.). And if you don’t mind narrow viewing angles of its TN screen.
Thx. I did want some more screen because I have to handle multiple docs on occasion, and really had no current use for touchscreen functionality. I think this Aspire will give me a little more flex room than a typical cloudbook (esp w/1 TB HDD over smaller eMMC storage & larger screen) and by upping the RAM and shopping an affordable m.2 SSD, I might be able to squeak some gaming out of what is going to be a backup laptop for work. I am 100% Mac at home and my ability to VPN into work is 100% anti-Mac compatible. Shocking in this day & age, but there it is.Thx again.
Hello thanks for posting this. I am looking for a laptop with a screen of 15.6 or 17.3. I am not sure which brand…always had HP. Is Dell better? I just mostly surf the web, play music, and download family photos. Looking for a deal on Cyber Monday.
Thanks for the heads up, I’ll include those deals soon. Are you interested in the HP 15-bs192od with 8th Gen Intel Core i7 $449.99 from the Office Depot / Max ad? if yes, the deal is good if you do intensive tasks like video / photo editing, music production etc. The CPU is excellent. If you don’t and want to save extra money, the HP 15-bs095ms from MS Store (listed above) has slower yet still excellent CPU, similar specs, and a larger 2TB HDD for $100 less. On the other hand, both of these have old-fashioned HD displays with narrow viewing angles (that’s a deal breaker IMO). Getting a laptop with an IPS Full HD screen would be a major improvement. They start at $550 (15.6-inchers) and you can find them in the list above. As for the Lenovo ($529.99 on the 2nd page of the ad right?), I’ll take a look at it now. Please stay tuned. Cheers.
That’s a tough question. It really depends on a particular offer. But, generally I would say on Black Friday price cuts are more aggressive than on Cyber Monday. On the other hand, laptops with huge discounts sell out very quickly during Black Friday / Thanksgiving sales. Oftentimes in just a couple of minutes after the deal goes live.
It’s simply an amazing deal. No laptop in the 200-dollar price range has FHD screen nor IPS. The processor is a budget-class but still far better than Intel Celerons, which are more often used in the $200 laptops. The only potentially big downside is limited storage space of only 32GB (and Windows takes up around half of that). But you can expand it with a memory card. In addition, the laptop has a free optical drive bay inside, so you can hack the laptop and put an SSD or HDD drive in that bay.
Thank you for this informative article! I was wondering though, do you think the new Lenovo yoga 900 will go on sale on Cyber Monday even though it hasn’t gone on sale on Black Friday and it was just released a few weeks ago? I know you’re not a mind reader but do you know if Lenovo (Or Best Buy because those are the two vendors that sell the 900) have historically posted sales on Cyber Monday that they have not posted on Black Friday (For example did the Yoga 3 Pro go on sale last Cyber Monday right after it was released)? If not, I think I will just buy the Yoga 900 open box from Best Buy for 1079$; I just can’t stand how slow my Yoga 3 Pro is with the core M right now. Any insight from anyone would be much appreciated, thank you guys!
Just came across this and thought it was amazing! I was just wondering what your take on is with Lenovo? Their Black Friday deals seems too good to be true at what they are priced at, and after reading reviews about them I’m not so sure I want to buy. The alternative second was the Alienware 15, even though Lenovo is offering some pretty nice specs that Alienware isn’t. I feel that there’s an obvious choice for some, but wanted some advice and don’t want make a purchasing mistake. The laptop I am replacing is a 2010-2011 XPS L501X with specs far behind either of these two (I’ll post below), so after 5 years, ANYTHING is better.
I can’t comment on reliability since I have used only the Y700 for a short period (I have no complaints about its display quality or build quality). Specs-wise, I would personally choose the Alienware, because of the noticeably better Nvidia 970M GPU, especially if you’re into gaming. The GPU makes the Alienware more future-proof than the Lenovo. Yes, the Alienware 15 lacks SSD and has smaller RAM, but you can add them yourself later, since the laptop has two M.2 SSD and two RAM slots accessible via a removable cover on the bottom. As for the display resolution, having an Ultra HD screen on a Windows laptop isn’t necessarily a better option than Full HD, because of still present scaling problems in some apps and games.
The Dell Inspiron 15 i5558-5718SLV Signature Edition offers good performance and Full HD display as its main selling points. It appears to be the best choice under $500. But, if you can spend $550 this Black Friday / Cyber Monday, the HP Envy x360 m6-w103dx and HP Pavilion 15-ab292nr Signature Edition additionally deliver IPS wide viewing angle display technology, Plus, the HP Pavilion 15-ab292nr includes a quad-core i7 CPU, which is recommended if you do a lot of photography editing, video editing and similar demanding tasks.
Hi, Tiffany. What I don’t like about the laptops you mentioned ( Dell Inspiron 3000 listed in the Cyber Monday ad for $599 and Toshiba S55-C5274 for $599 from Staples Black Friday ad, right?) are their displays. For under $600 you can get a laptop with much better Full HD resolution and also IPS technology for wide viewing angles, which will greatly improve picture quality for your movies. A good option is the HP Envy x360 m6-w103dx with Full HD / IPS and additionally touch / flip display and sleek design for $549 at Best Buy on Black Friday- listed above. The m6-w103dx includes a bit slower i5 CPU instead of i7, but chances are you will never notice the difference during the tasks you mentioned. Now, the Cyber Monday Dell Inspiron has a dedicated video card which greatly improves gaming performance, but it you play only light games you can maybe get away with only the basic Intel HD integrated graphics. As for the Toshiba S55 deal, it has no meaningful advantages over the Dell nor HP Envy x360 m6, plus to get the price of $599.99 you have to deal with a $50 rebate. After instant off only its $649.99. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
At $549, the Pavilion 15-ab292nr will be definitely a good Black Friday deal, especially given it has a FHD IPS screen. In comparison to the Envy x360 m6, the main advantage of the Pavilion is much faster quad-core i7 processor instead of the dual-core i5. Not necessarily noticeable during the light day-to-day tasks, but it can complete demanding operations like video transcoding or photography editing much quicker. In addition, its Intel HD 530 integrated graphics is slightly faster than the HD 520, but still just an entry-level graphics solution.
Thank you that you share this info with us. My question is, which of the I want to ask you which of the laptops of Black Friday’s deals are the best for graphic design work on Adobe programs and eventually 3d MAX? Now i have MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011); 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5;8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3;ntel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB. So I want to sell it and buy something much better. Could you help me,please! Which is the best offer for laptop to buy it this black Friday?
For your tasks, I would recommend a laptop with a quad-core Intel i5 or even better i7 CPU combined with a dedicated video card and Full HD IPS display. On the list, there are currently two of them which I would recommend: Dell Inspiron i7559-763BLK and Lenovo Y700 80NW000PUS. Please keep in mind this list is for Windows-based machines only, but still the Dell and Lenovo are excellent for your tasks without costing too much. And better than MacBook Black Friday offers.
First off thank you for creating this post, it was very helpful and informative. I was just wondering what you thought of the HP Pavilion i7-5500U from Sam’s Black Friday ad? My budget is around $400-$600 and I want to get the most bang for my buck since it’s a big purchase for me and I won’t be buying another laptop for a while. I plan to use it mainly for internet browsing (I open a lot of tabs though), streaming, and schoolwork. Any insight is appreciated.
Nothing so far. I don’t believe there will be any meaningful Surface Book deals this year, since the latest devices rarely get discounted during Black Friday. Also, the official Microsoft Store Black Friday 2015 preview doesn’t include any deal on the Surface Book.
Generally, HP Envy is a higher-end laptop line, usually with Full HD or above displays, keyboard backlight, SSD storage and aluminum casings, while Pavilions belongs to the mid-range and most of the time sport standard HD screens, non-backlit keyboards, traditional HDDs, and plastic shells. However, the line between them has recently became blurred, since you now have some Pavilion configurations with Full HD displays, keyboard backlight, and SSD. At the same time HP offers some affordable Envy configurations with HD displays and no key backlight.
I’m looking at buying my son the rca cambio at walmart on blackfriday. All I need to know is will he be able to listen to spotify, what kinds of apps does he have to choose from, and will it run minecraft? Thanks
Does the HP Envy TouchSmart m6-n015dx allow for a SSD upgrade? I’ve been looking for specs to see if it has a SATA _III or SATA II but can’t find anything
The problem with the AMD A10 CPU in the Dell Inspiron at Sam’s is that it’s a just released one, so no graphics benchmarks are available yet. But it is expected to match or slightly surpass performance of the well-known Intel i5-4210U with Intel HD 4400 graphics. If you want to risk a bit, go for it. Otherwise, the Dell Inspiron 15 i15547-5033sLV at Microsoft Store for the same price on Black Friday and with the Intel i5/HD 4400 is a safer bet and is one of the best laptop deals this year. Here’s what gaming looks like on the Intel HD 4400: https://laptoping.com/haswells-intel-hd-4400-gaming-and-benchmarks-round-up.html
After browsing and checking out your links I’m leaning towards the Microsoft offer. Both laptops really do seem pretty compatible but it also seems like Microsoft has a bit more to offer through the warranty, customer service, and virus protection on the “Signature” series. The touchscreen is also a plus and from what I’m reading you get a bit more out of the battery as well.
I am looking to buy my daughter a laptop this holiday season. I have narrowed it down to the Dell Inspiron 15 i15547-5033sLV Signature Edition Laptop for 399 at microsoft.com and this HP Envy TouchSmart m6-n015dx Laptop with Touch, Intel i5 for 499 from best buy. In your opinion which is the better deal? Some details: light to moderate gaming, school work, watch streams, skype.
In addition, the HP has touchscreen, keyboard backlight, subwoofer speaker, and overall looks better IMO. On the negative side, it is a bit heavier and the battery life will be probably shorter than on the Dell.
From these three I would exclude the #3 Toshiba because of a slower CPU than on the #1 Toshiba and Lenovo (I assume you’re considering this Lenovo model: http://amzn.to/1jSK13j ). The #1 Toshiba has the fastest processor among these, but the Lenovo doesn’t lag behind much and is quite suitable for all the tasks you listed. Touchscreen does add to the overall price of a laptop with it, but it certainly isn’t an error buying it if the price of the laptop is reasonable like on the S400. Why not trying out a new (and IMO very convenient) way for interaction with Windows and apps? Overall, the Toshiba #1 is a better choice only if you really want to have a slightly larger screen than the Lenovo (but both have the same resolution / space for OS and apps) and you really need a DVD burner. Otherwise, the Lenovo S400 is more portable, has touchscreen, and looks more stylish.
No, it isn’t. If you want to check out other C55 models with touch, you should look for models with T in their name. The C55t are models with Intel CPUs and touch, while the C55Dt are AMD-based models with touch. Those with only C55- and C55D- are not touch.
If you don’t do video editing and work with large images in Photoshop often, you’ll be fine with the Toshiba C55-A5308, but if you do you should go for the Lenovo which has a faster processor. In my opinion, Windows is still superior over iPads and Google Android tablets when it comes to productivity and since you said you work with documents I think Windows is a way to go. Plus, it’s better for multi-tab web surfing (if you have at least 4GB of RAM and an Intel Pentium, Core i3 / i5 / i7 processor). I have one suggestion regarding portability: for $499.99 you can get the HP Split X2 13-g110dx listed in the table above. It’s much more portable than the 15.6-inchers and you can detach the screen and use it as a classic tablet, while still having performance of the Core i3 CPU for multiple browser tabs and office work. It’s really worth spending $100 more and get a device which is both a tablet and a laptop and has a longer battery life. More about the Split X2: https://laptoping.com/hp-split-x2-13-m110dx-x2-laptoptablet-hybrid.html If your budget is up to $400 another similar option is the Asus Transformer Book T100 https://laptoping.com/asus-transformer-book-t100ta-c1-gr-cheap-hybrid-with-64gb-ssd.html, but it isn’t fast enough if you do productivity on daily basis.
If you just watch Youtube videos, read magazines, and play online games, you won’t notice much difference between a Windows 8 tablet, iPad, and Google Nexus, but for me it’s much easier to do text document or spreadsheet editing on a Windows 8 device, because it’s designed for both keyboard/mouse and touch. On the other side keyboard/mouse is only an alternative use on Android tabs and iPads and use of mouse pointer and keyboard shortcuts (for copy/paste, letter selection etc) isn’t even close in terms of usability to Windows devices. In addition, Microsoft Word and MS Office can be installed only on Windows PCs. There are alternatives to Office for iPads and Android, but they still lag behind MS Office.
Can you tell me your screen-size preference and budget? Do you need a DVD burner? The Toshiba Satellite is a popular brand, but there are different variations of it. For instance, the Satellite C-series such as C55 has a plastic body and basic specifications, whereas the P-series such as the P55 have classy aluminum cases and optionally high-end components like quad-core processors, dedicated video cards for gaming, and nice features like full HD displays and keyboard backlight. It all depends on the model you choose.
It looks exactly like this model https://laptoping.com/hp-envy-15-j011dx-standard-15-6-laptop-with-quad-speakers.html and has the same ports/slots, speakers, webcam etc. But the Costco 798880 model is touchscreen and has a much better processor and larger RAM/HDD. The only important unknown spec is the display resolution. It can be either 1366×768 or full HD 1920×1080.
This is the best black friday computer comparison that I’ve found. Really appreciate all the research/info provided. It’s quite confusing for a novice computer buyer to wade through all the differences and this helped me pick the “right” choice based on cost and functionality. Thank you so much!
Although the Lenovo Y510p gaming laptop for $857 is a great Black Friday deal, it’s sad to see that the PC maker has actually increased the price from previously discounted $799.
The HP Envy 15t (#809193) from Costco is 8 gb and not 16. Where did u find the processor info? I cannot even find a model number. I want to know the screen resolution.
Yeah, it’s 8GB. An error on our end, sorry. The model is listed in the Costco Black Friday ad. The ad says it has a quad-core 4th Gen i7 and the i7-4700MQ is the only quad-core 4th Gen i7 CPU among the HP 15t configurations so I think the same CPU is in the #809193. They haven’t published a page on costco.com for that item number, so we have no info on the screen resolution yet, but we’ll update the table above as soon as we get the specs.
Out of the Black Friday laptops, I am seriously considering this Costco model. What do you think of it? I only really want an HP and leaning heavily to an Envy… This seems like a good (not wow but good) deal.
The announced 809193 Costco model is the fastest $600 laptop for this Black Friday so far according to ads. If you add a quad-speaker system, great aluminum build-quality and keyboard with nice tactile response (and maybe backlight option included) the deal is probably the best choice for shoppers with a 600-dollar budget and no touchscreen preference. The only questions remaining are the screen resolution, keyboard backlight, and battery life, but even if it has a 1366×768 screen and no key backlight, the deal is still great. You can check out the live images of the HP 15t in a post about the same laptop with the old i5 chip (15-j011dx): https://laptoping.com/hp-envy-15-j011dx-standard-15-6-laptop-with-quad-speakers.html . It will be on sale for $500.
I don’t need to worry about battery life so this might be what I am going to go for. A backlight keyboard and better screen resolution would be amazing as well but they are not deal breakers for me.
You can also wait to see if there will be any Black Friday or regular coupons for HP’s official store. They have the same laptop there, it’s called the 15t-j100 Quad Edition. It’s $830 now with the i7/8GB/1TB + keyboard backlight. Full HD adds $50 to the price. If HP delivers a good enough coupon, you’ll maybe be able to get a better deal if you buy directly from them. Unfortunately, HP site charges shipping as well.

When will the best Black Friday monitor deals start in 2022?Black Friday will be on November 25 this year and, as per tradition, we expect to see some excellent sales before then. Traditionally the best discounts have been on the day itself and though that’s still generally true, recent years have seen an increase in retailers launching Black Friday pricing earlier, for instance at the start of Thanksgiving week if not before.
Even before that week, there are plenty of sales in the month leading up to the special day, with some as early as October. Based on last year’s deals, some of them can be either nearly or even equal to the deals on and around Black Friday. And that’s a pattern that should repeat itself this year.
One of the most things to be aware of as you search for monitor sales on Black Friday is that retailers are trying to push off old stock. This means that you might come across what looks to be a great deal, only to find out later that the monitor is several years old with outdated specs. Of course, that doesn’t make it useless, as most monitors are still perfectly usable.
Keep in mind that monitors at the very least should be 1080p resolution which is the bare minimum HD resolution, preferably 4k if you can afford it but 1080p is still perfectly fine. From there, your needs will vary based on what kind of work you need your monitor for.
Meanwhile, for gaming monitors, the two most important factors other than resolution are refresh rate and response time. For the former, the higher the number the better since it represents the number of times per second that the image refreshes on the screen. Refresh rates of 144Hz and above are particularly good.
If you"re looking for monitors at cheaper prices, be aware that some manufacturers may cut corners with certain other specs in order to lower that price. For instance, one of the inexpensive monitors on sale last year has a subpar sound quality to balance out the other high specs like 4k resolution.Black Friday monitor deals are happening right now, and you can save a good chunk of money with thebest cheap monitor deals.

Use Vibe One just like a remote, so you don"t have to walk back and forth to tap the screen.Vibe has been such a game changer for my business. It’s been one of my best investments of all time. It paid itself off in the first 2 months!
This portable monitor works with both Mac and PC, as well as consoles like the PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It"s lightweight, has a 1,920x1,080-pixel screen resolution, produces 300 nits of brightness and has a matte screen finish with anti-glare coating, making it ultraportable and easy to see from pretty much any angle. It also has two built-in stereo speakers. And while my Dell XPS laptop certainly comes equipped with better sound, the monitor was loud enough that I took several Zoom calls without noticing I had the wrong speakers switched (though I definitely heard the difference when streaming music later on).
The monitor comes with a magnetic cover to protect the screen when it"s not in use, as well as USB-C to USB-C, USB-A to USB-C and Mini-HDMI to HDMI cables and a 5-volt 3-amp wall charger. It can also be used in both landscape and portrait modes, and while I use mine while on the road primarily, you can attach this monitor to a VESA mount if you want a permanent addition to your workspace. It also has FreeSync, making this a decent pick for gamers looking for a budget-friendly option.
Portable monitors are getting more popular and new kid on the block, Espresso Displays, has what it claims to be the thinnest around. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign, the Espresso Display is now available to buy.
It comes in two sizes and I’ve taken a look at the larger 15.6in model here, complete with some of the accessories you’ll need to make the most out of the screen. A portable monitor can make you more productive – saving you up to 17.5 hours a week, according to the firm – and the Espresso Display even works with the Nintendo Switch when you want to relax.
As mentioned earlier, the Espresso Display comes in two sizes: 13.3- and 15.6in. So, you can decide how much real-estate you need for a second screen, bearing in mind that the smaller one is more portable.
I’ve tested the larger size but the key specs remain the same so my testing should apply to both models. You get a Full HD resolution, 16 million colours and a brightness of 300 nits. Both come with touch-input as standard which in my testing works very well and you can also use a stylus.
You can adjust the brightness, but that’s the only control you get with no on-screen menu here. It’s not immediately obvious as the side buttons adjust volume so you have to long-press the down button to access brightness.
The Espresso Display is also compatible with selected phones, namely Samsung, Huawei and Apple, and also works with the Nintendo Switch without using its proper docking station. This is something the other portable monitors I’ve tested don’t support.
It’s also got good connectivity, supports the Nintendo Switch and has touch input as standard. The performance of the panel is good, too, with decent colour gamut even if brightness is below the quoted amount.
