Set both Display screens to use the master display profile (normally the external display) in the System preferences / color pane - that fixes many dual screen appearance issues, but of course the MacBook screen is now inaccurate. so it"s only a workaround "til Adobe and Apple can fix this issue.

Power, screen and sound work fine on my Samsung un65eh6000. However after cleaning the TV screen with fine (over)spray of Windex left half of the screen has now gone green. At first for like 30 mins after wiping, it earlier appeared smudged, then we saw some ghosty black snakes all across the screen, then the whole screen turned white and now the right half of the screen is all Green while the right half seems to be OK. I took off the back cover and panel etc.. and am now to the board level. The two cables from TCON board to the bottom of the TV have been disconnected/reconnected multiple times but no change. I did see some water droplets (must be Windex) at the bottom of the TV where a few circuit PCBs run that connect to the main screen with very fine band type cables, but i did blow them dry. Also, without any signal, the entire screen goes blackish/blue and I can see the hue light lit at the back. So the LCD is good. However the moment I connect the ribbon cables from the TCON board to the LCD circuitry that lies at the bottom of the TV, the left half of the screen remains black with the "No Input" text box displayed on the screen but the right half of the screen turns all green. I have attached a few pics with my post to explain the situation. Hope the pics give you a clear idea and picture of the above explanation ..
The 4th image from top was taken after I disconnected both the ribbon cables from TCON board to the bottom circuitry. As you can see that all screen turns black with a slight hue on the back throughout the panel, which tells me that the LCD/LED screen is still working good. Its some issue either with the ribbon cables or the TCON board.
The 5th image was taken after only the right (bad) side"s ribbon is disconnected but the left side ribbon is intact. In that case I do see a small white line on the extreme right side of the screen, which was not there (as you can see in image 4), when both the ribbon cables where disconnected. I guess it may a result of the left screen info. overlap.

AMOLED burn-in on screens and displays is permanent. Fortunately, you can slow it down and reduce its visibility by using a few simple tricks, which can also increase battery life.
Each pixel within an Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode (AMOLED) comprises red, green, and blue (and sometimes white) sub-pixels. When they emit light, they decay. Burn-in appears because individual sub-pixels lose brightness at different rates, depending on its color. The most-used light-emitting sub-pixels, such as for navigation and status icons, wear out first, leading to uneven light production.
It doesn"t help that many user-interface buttons are white. For an AMOLED panel to produce white light, the display switches on three different sub-pixels in proximity to one another. Each sub-pixel produces a different color: red, blue, and green. Together they appear white to the human eye. However, each of the three colors wears out at different rates, depending on the manufacturer.
For the AMOLED on most smartphones, red sub-pixels are the most durable, followed by green. Blue decays the fastest. When you see burn-in, it"s often caused by a weakening blue sub-pixel. All "fixes" aim at addressing the failing blue sub-pixel. Remember, there are also tools available to fix dead pixels.
Everyone with an OLED display has some burn-in. But often, it"s not fully visible unless you display a solid color at maximum brightness. The Android operating system has access to many apps that detect burn-in damage. The best of these is Screen Test.
Screen Test is ultra-simple: install and run the app. Touching the screen shifts between colors and patterns. If you see a persistent image impression or blotchy coloration, you have burn-in.
For my AMOLED phone, I"ve taken every precaution against screen burn-in. Even so, the display is still a little blotchy after over a year of use. Fortunately, there are no indications of burn-in where the navigation buttons are.

Some might notice that the stock wallpapers in Android aren"t usually suited for OLED screens. OLED screens consume very little energy when displaying the color black, and they do not burn-in when displaying black. Unfortunately, older Android versions don"t include a solid black wallpaper option.
If you don"t have Android 10 or newer, the default Android Launcher isn"t OLED friendly. In Android 5.0, it forces the App Drawer wallpaper to white (the worst color for OLED screens). One of the best launchers for darker colors is Nova Launcher. Not only is it more responsive, it offers better customization options.

There are a few other burn-in repair tools, but I don"t recommend them since they either require root access and/or can increase screen damage. However, for reference, you can read about them below and why using them is a bad idea. They fall into two categories:
I do not recommend using this option unless your screen is already trashed. It will cause additional damage but may reduce the appearance of already existing on-screen burn. Inverting colors simply reverses the colors displayed on your screen. Whites become blacks and vice-versa.
Several tools claim to reduce the appearance of burn-in by attempting to age the entirety of your OLED panel. These screen burn-in tools flash red, green, and blue (or other) colors on your screen.
None of these methods will stop the inevitable and slow destruction of your device"s screen. However, using all the recommended options in this article will dramatically decrease the rate at which it decays. That said, some of the oldest AMOLED phones have very little burn-in. The decay of organic LEDs is almost entirely aesthetic, particularly on newer phones.
As the day passed and it was getting darker I have noticed that the indoor pictures (with artificial light) look more and more yellowish/greenish, more noticably in the shadows. Switching to video, it became even more noticable. I tried to change the white balance, but had no luck (AWB looked exactly like the Tungsten option, so I think the camera "guessed" the situation correctly. The higher numerical values looked more and more orange/reddish, but I could not set the temperature to any value to produce even a little close to white). I also tried to change the film type, with no luck. I had just updated the firmware from 1.4 to 1.5, but there was no change. I downloaded a few pictures to my iPhone, but they looked same on the camera LCD and iPhone screen (to rule out any LCD problem).
On the other hand, with a very few exceptions, my GF3 produced correct WB and whites (when it was off it was towards reddish, but that happened in very special cases), and I even tried my iPhone XS, which was also correct (very close to what the GF3 produced). Again, I looked at them not as a professional, so I"m sure those have plenty of inaccuracies, but the Leica ones are noticable to the naked eye of an amateur, on the LCD screens.
I searched a lot for similar issues, but could not find any mention for the TL2. I found greenish tint topics for M cameras, with the advice to either use post-processing or that it is the Leica look. The tint is not a nice one in my personal opinion, e.g. not towards sepia or some warm color, that I see sometimes attributed to Leica look, it"s somehow a shallow yellow/green tint producing unpleasant results.
The ‘Brightness’ setting on a TV is used to adjust the depth of black on the screen. Set it too low and you will ‘crush’ the blacks, which means you’ll lose detail in darker images. Set it too high and the blacks won’t look dark enough.
Adjusting a TV’s sharpness setting changes how it defines distinct objects on the screen. The proper sharpness setting will make things look about the same as they do in real life. Too much will exaggerate contours and lines. It"s very rare for a TV to have the option to remove sharpness from an image, which is why only two images are compared here.
This setting adjusts the amount of red and green tint to the image on the TV. Like the color setting, this is almost always correct by default, so there’s no need to adjust it yourself. Once again, if you decide to adjust this setting yourself, use a blue filter.
To adjust this setting using the pattern, look through your blue filter and adjust the tint/hue setting so that the magenta and teal boxes (located in the blue and red columns) look identical.
Adjusting the white balance means changing the amount of red, blue, and green in several different shades of gray. By correcting each of these shades, the overall color of the image is corrected to be as accurate as the TV can manage.
Local dimming adjusts the backlight in dark areas of the screen, to reduce the amount of backlight bleed and improve the contrast ratio. Not all TVs support this feature, and relatively few TVs do it well. You should adjust this to your personal preference, depending on your viewing conditions, and even the content you"re watching. iOS 16 was a fairly substantial update that offers lock screen customisation, continuity camera, brought much-requested features like haptic feedback on the native keyboard, improved drag and drop, etc. However, everything does not appear to be smooth sailing on iOS 16. Users have reported higher standby drain, worse battery life, and heating issues, and the latest addition to the list of problems with this version is reportedly display issues.
After updating to iOS 16.1, a significant and alarming number of iPhone 13 units have faced display problems like green screen tint issues that make the entire screen turn green with no visible content on display at all. Other units have faced screen rainbow issues, which are permanent lines of discolouration, a common issue with OLED panels. The problems, however, do not end there. Green lines on the display have been reported too.
The issue, in most cases, usually begins with screen flickering and a slight green tint, which is very prominent in low brightness and when the grey colour is displayed on the screen. The issue is also noticeable in interactive elements like UI buttons and the keyboard. If your device flickers at low brightness, it is recommended to take it to an Apple service centre after trying all the basic troubleshooting methods. While this issue has happened to several OLED iPhone models, recent reports state that it has been happening at a more significant margin with the iPhone 13.
I have waited almost a full year with my finger on the trigger to buy my first FX body (I had a used D700 for couple of days, then sold it on ebay, making just shy of 400 Euro profit of it, not to mention unsuccessful purchase of a new one in the middle of 2011, Thanks God covered by Ebay buyer protection, uff). Then I discovered NR and D700s/D800 rumors, being amazed by the new gear Nikon pulled out this year. What a disappointment NOW. I am sure it is HW fault, I have dealed with this on LCDs (Belinea those days), Smartphones (Galaxy S2 yellow tint) etc.
Such a product MAY NOT leave factory. What does Nikons QC (or better who told them to let it pass through?!?). I am no beginner with electronics at all, just built my new Core i7 2600K machine from used parts bought on ebay, half the price covered by selling old Quadcore, so I do know about bugs in new products etc. And I DO KNOW bios/fw updates can fix SOME bugs but c"mon: BAD backlight stays whatever FW you load onto your new camera. One can compensate by recalibrating the LCD gfx chip, but without Nikon"s agreement on this, there will be NO new profile (in FW update) for affected units (and I am not sure about the community skills needed to make custom FW). Sorry, this is SHAME. I got rid of my affected Belinea, Galaxy S2 etc and I won"t accept even pricier Nikon D800 with such a fault. Without calibrated and correctly displaying LCD screen it"s kinda like a film camera with digital storage: you get CORRECT preview ONLY IN THE LAB (computer). Unbelievable. :D
