Unfortunately I could not get my DS up and working with this replacement screen. My original DS screen cracked when I dropped the DS on concrete. I was able to swap the broken screen out with the replacements screen, however the DS will only turn on for a few seconds before powering off (the screen comes on and is working...however the device won"t stay on). It also will not charge. I"ve read some blogs online which indicate that these symptoms could occur if the screen connections are not seated properly. I have tried reseating the connections several times and also tried cleaning the connections with an alcohol-soaked q-tip. Unfortunately after about 10 tries I am going to raise the white flag and purchange a gently used DS.
