RFI350U-AYW-DNN is a 3.5-inch diagonal IPS transmissive type 320x480 TFT LCD display module. The module features wide viewing angle thanks to the IPS panel which is one of the most popular techniques on the market now. This TFT display module uses ILI9488 driver IC which supports 8/16/18-bit MCU, 3-Line SPI interface and RGB interface + 3-SPI. This display has a controller built into it with RAM buffering so that almost no work is done by the microcontroller. The display can be used in two modes: 8-bit or SPI. For 8-bit mode, you"ll need 8 digital data lines and 4 or 5 digital control lines to read and write to the display (12 lines total). SPI mode requires only 5 pins total (SPI data in, data out, clock, select, and d/c) but is slower than 8-bit mode.

The infrared touch screen is equipped with a circuit board frame in front of the display. The circuit board arranges infrared emitting tubes and infrared receiving tubes on the four sides of the screen to form a horizontal and vertical infrared matrix. The main part of the resistive touch screen is a resistive thin film screen that fits well with the display surface. Two layers of OTI transparent oxide metal conductive layers are coated on the reinforced glass surface. Pressure sensing is used for control. When a finger touches the screen. The two conductive layers contact at the touch point, and the resistance changes. Signals are generated in the X and Y directions and then transmitted to the touch screen controller. The controller detects this contact and calculates the position of (x, y) and then operates according to the way of simulating the mouse. The resistive touch screen is not afraid of dust, water and dirt, and can work in harsh environments.
