Hello, thank you for these!! It have only done this before manually trying to align and scale the clips. One questions however what if I have many short video clips and want them to play split screen (4 windows) but within each window I want the clips to keep switching as one finishes but. Is the only way to create some type of compound clip of all the individual clips and add that one clip to the drop zone?

Sadly after following the instructions on your video, my two clips remain stationary after the first second. They are moving during the fade in, then just freeze. Any ideas?

I am having a bit of difficulty because every time I add a file into one of the frames, I select from the very beginning of the clip, yet when the video uploads into the frame, it’s showing from a different point in the video, and I’m not sure how to fix this. The videos are all lined up and cropped to align with the frame template, yet the videos are not lining up.

To get your content up quickly it can be useful to have a pool of stock image and video sites that you can quickly collate content from. The benefit being, that you can source high-quality images that work well within a screen format and that are of professional quality.

These guys are kind enough to send you a new pack of stock photos each month which can be used commercially however you desire. Launched by a bunch of creatives looking to promote the use of less boring stock images and illustrations, the image packs range from countryside, to office and even food. If you sign up to the mailing list on their homepage you also receive 30 elements for free. The only downside, is that being based in Singapore, some of the footage is very Asia-centric, for example, the cityscape footage is mainly of Asian cities. Other good video stock sites to try if you can’t find what you’re looking for include Free HD Footage and Ignite Motion. Both are a little old school in their site design, but do the job nethertheless.

Placeit is a great tool if you’re looking to add your own branding to a stock image or something that’s been taken by a member of the team. Unless you’re a designer, led by designer tools, manually customising an image to blend with an image you’ve already had, or have sourced from a stock site, can be difficult. Placeit allows you to upload your images and screenshots into a stock photo template. For example, allowing you to add a screenshot of your CRM to a stock photo of a PC or allowing you to add a dashboard or shot of your video player onto a screen that’s mounted on a wall. The images available span from mobiles and tablets, through to laptops and desktops, in a variety of situations and settings so there really is something for everyone.

As we mentioned in this post, choosing an appropriate color scheme for your digital sign display can be difficult. Different rules apply to digital screens, than print or even most online content. This can make it hard to create a color scheme that’s eye catching but not garish, on-brand but still easy on the eye. That’s where Design Seeds comes in. A video intro leads your viewers into your content. Keep your intro simple and to the point. Viewers want to get to the meat of your content. They don’t care about anything other than what you promised to teach them.

A lower-third (also called a chyron) is placed on the lower third portion (usually to the right or left) of the screen and is a simple way to provide your audience with information. Usually, they display a name, place, or other useful information.

Finally, you’ll want to add music to your video. It will probably take you more time to choose the music you want to use than it will to actually add it to your video.

If you have music in your video, make sure it doesn’t overpower your with your voice over. Don’t be afraid to add those phat beats, but remember that your audience is here to learn from what you’re saying.

Pay special attention to your final edit by focusing on the sound. Close your eyes and just listen to your video. If it sounds off, you should adjust it, regardless of how amazing your footage or screen content is.

A YouTube outro is where you can add specific calls to action to your video. This can also be referred to as the end screen, and it is the last part of your video.

Now that you’ve created an optimized video, it’s time to optimize within the YouTube platform. You don’t want to overcomplicate this. It isn’t about stuffing keywords into places and trying to trick YouTube into ranking your video.

Get the keyword in the title and description, preferably at the front, but don’t forget to make it compelling and click-worthy. It’s less about trying to stuff keywords in and more about letting viewers know that your video will help solve what they are looking for.

According to YouTube, 90% of the best-performing videos on YouTube use a custom thumbnail. Try to make your YouTube thumbnail interesting and different than everything else in the search results.

You can create a stronger buzz and your views begin to climb through your existing base. Owen Video likes to create video velocity by acquiring views before a video is public and rewarding his followers with exclusive content.
