Have your product stand out with the DT050ATFT display - our 5” TFT LCD module with full viewing angle. The full viewing angle feature allows the display contents of the LCD to be visible from practically any angle. It"s a cost-effective enhancement compared to using an IPS display. The 5" TFT has 800 x 480 RGB resolution and supports 24-bit parallel RGB input mode. The LCD uses two driver ICs to drive the display: a source driver with TCON (Ilitek ILI6122) and a gate driver (Ilitek ILI5960). It also is available with either a resistive touchscreen or capacitive touchscreen panel. This 5 inch LCD is an ideal option for a variety of digital devices including video or POS systems.

ER-TFTM050-3 is 800x480 dots 5" color tft lcd module display with RA8875 controller board, superior display quality, super wide viewing angle and easily controlled by MCU such as 8051, PIC, AVR, ARDUINO,and ARM .It can be used in any embedded systems, industrial device, security and hand-held equipment which requires display in high quality and colorful image.

It supports 8080 6800 8-bit,16-bit parallel,3-wire,4-wire,I2C serial spi interface. Built-in MicroSD card slot. It"s optional for 4-wire resistive touch panel (IC RA8875 built-in touch controller),capacitive touch panel with controller, font chip, flash chip and microsd card. We offer two types connection, one is pin header and the another is ZIF connector with flat cable.Mounting on board by default. There is no capacitive touch panel connection on the board of ER-TFTM050-3,its capacitive touch panel needs to be connected with your external board. Now we design another new board with capacitive touch connection named_ER-TFTM050A2-3.

Of course, we wouldn"t just leave you with a datasheet and a "good luck!".Here is the link for5" TFT capacitive touch shield with libraries, examples, schematic diagram for Arduino Due,Mega 2560 and Uno. For 8051 microcontroller user,we prepared the detailed tutorial such as interfacing, demo code and development kit at the bottom of this page.

This 5.0" TFT screen has lots of pixels, 800x480 to be exact, an LED backlight and a resistive touchscreen overlay. Its great for when you need a lot of space for graphics or a user interface. These screens are commonly seen in consumer electronics, such as miniature TV"s, GPS"s, handheld games car displays, etc. A 40-pin connector has 8 red, 8 green, and 8 blue parallel pins, for 24 bit color capability.

This is a "raw pixel-dot-clock" display and does not have an SPI/parallel type controller or any kind of RAM. The display is supposed to be constantly refreshed, at 60Hz, with a pixel clock, V sync, H sync, etc. There are some high end processors such as that used in the BeagleBone that can natively support such RGB TTL displays. However, it is extremely rare for a small microcontroller to support it, as you need dedicated hardware or a very fast processor such as an FPGA. Not only that, but the backlight requires a constant-current mode boost converter that can go as high as 24V instead of our other small displays that can run the backlight off of 5V

Maclight 5 inch tft lcd display modules have 800x480, 480x272, 640x480 typical resolutions. TN TFT and IPS display modes are available. the interface can be RGB, MCU, LVDS, HDMI, mipi interfaces.

The 5 inch IPS TFT is free viewing angle tft and wide temperature tft, that its working temperature can be up to -30~80°C, one IC driver solution with cost competitive,40-pin RGB interface available,

For that reason, we are carrying it as a companion to the Adafruit RA8875 driver board in the store, which is a chip that can handle the huge video RAM and timing requirements, all in the background. That"s the best way to interface this display to just about any microcontroller (including Arduino & friends) If you want to control with from an HDMI or DVI output, check out our TFP401 driver board. If you are an advanced electronics enthusiast you can try wiring this directly to your processor, but it we don"t have any support or tutorials for that purpose.

The Capacitive touch panel is activated with anything containing an inductive load such as a finger or stylus. It allows for multi-touch options. When using the capacitive touch screen, the display needs a separate controller to interface with the touch panel. The display for capacitive touch is brighter since the touch panel is transparent.

The Transmissive polarizer is best used for displays that run with the backlight on all the time. This polarizer provides the brightest backlight possible. If you have a need for a bright backlight with lower power drain, transmissive is a good choice for this TFT LCD display.
