We desperately needed to upgrade our monitor as it was huge, bulky, and making funny noises and would blank out occasionally. We had already upgraded to an actual eMachine about a year ago, so we decided to go with something compatible that we would not need to install any kind of cards into our system. For ME, the more simple, the better. At first, I was skeptical. What is the resolution going to look like? But once my hubby installed it and we were running off of it, I was blown away by the clarity and the high resolution. My eyes are not as strained anymore. I finally have room on my desk for both my monitor AND my keyboard and STILL have room to write my notes, or balance my checkbook. I find this monitor a HUGE asset. With preschool children in our house, it really is great. They don"t need to get right in front of the monitor to see it clearly, the numbers, graphics, EVERYTHING is just so much clearer, crisper, and larger. I work with accounting software and with tons of small numbers to deal with, this is just ideal to see everything clearly. Definitely recommend to anyone. Great for games, as well. As stated before, we have preschool children and the graphics are bigger and crisper, so my boys really enjoy sitting comfortably now without fighting over being able to "see the screen".
